Founded in Omegna in 1953 as “T. Smorgoni,” specializing in third-party manufacturing, by Teobaldo Smorgoni, it started as a small artisanal business that quickly transformed, thanks to its founder’s entrepreneurial skills, into an efficient industry with advanced technological equipment and machinery.
From this point forward, it established itself with an important production of stainless steel design items for tableware, gifts, and hotel use, marketed under the brand.
The processing of stainless steel, the preferred material of designers worldwide for its sense of modernity, durability, and purity, is the core business of STO S.r.l..
By combining the transparency of glass, almost entirely produced with their own molds, with the luminosity of steel, a true alchemy is created, perfect for furnishing accessories for domestic tables or the hospitality sector.
